Bansko offers the most advantageous last-minute reservations
According to a latest survey, the most advantageous offers for last-minute reservations in four and five-star hotels are available in Bulgaria. The capital city of Sofia and the second-largest city of Plovdiv hold respectively the fourth and the first place in the ranking.This ranking is based on the annual price of four and five-star hotels for a night accommodation in a standard double room in September. The survey relates to Europe, North America, Central America and South America, Oceanea, Southeastern Asia, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
Bansko takes the lead in the list of the most affordable European destinations for September as the average accommodation price per day in four and five-star hotels is BGN 98. The Bulgarian ski resort is followed by Saranda in Albania and Ohrid in Macedonia. The city of Plovdiv takes the fourth position with an average accommodation price of BGN 120 in high-class hotels.
