Residential property sale deals marked an increase by 15 % in the Bulgarian capital city of Sofia and in the larger cities in June, reveal real estate developers. A larger number of apartments are looked for due to the rent price jump. Many people are willing to invest in them.
The bigger part of property deals during the first six months of 2014 varied at prices from EUR 50 -70 000. Properties at the price of EUR 100 000 are recently also demanded. Customers tend to look for more spacious apartments, which is a sure sign that the market is just reviving.
Local real estate developers account on a serious growth of apartments demand most of which have total living space of 60 to 70 sq.m – even three-bedroomed apartments are as demanded as the two-bedroomed ones.
In most big cities people prefer buying apartments in the central parts due to the more advantageous property prices.
The main preferences of the buyers are now focused on apartments with convenient locations.
The interest in holiday properties is considerably reviving – some buyers even would love to buy a second holiday home – one of them lies near the sea, the other one is situated near a mountain.
Experts explain that a property itself is an excellent investment and about 20 % of the deals made on the market aim at an investment not only at permanent living which was common during the most serious times of crisis.
