Tourist train to transport visitors to the lovely Belogradchik Fortress

06.10.2014

Tourist train to transport visitors to the lovely Belogradchik Fortress A tourist train will transport visitors from the town center of Belogradchik, to the fortress located among the prominent Belogradchik Rocks in Vratsa region.

The train will facilitate the access to the fortress and thus, the necessity to use private or rented transport. It is delivered under the Project on Preservation of the Cultural-Historical Heritage and Tourist Offering within the territory of the Belogradchik Fortress, funded by the Regional Development Operative Programme, the municipal press center explained.

When the weather is fine, the attractive tourist train will travel to the fortress every day. The Mayor of the Municipality of Belogradchik recommended that tourists who would live to visit the fortress, will be transported free until the end of this year.

The possibilities for mountaineering and alternative tourism in Northwestern Bulgaria are great! Those who are fond of the regions of Vidin and Vratsa can be sure that the conditions for permanent living are very good and many Bulgarian properties are available at really advantageous prices.

Probably the best estate agent in Bulgaria. As a recently married couple looking to give up the grind of 8-6 mon-fri rat-race lifestyle... but without enough money to actually do so at home in the UK. We have always been adventurous, but after watching the series ‘Ben Fogle: New Lives in the Wild’, the idea of just quitting our jobs and moving away to start something completely new, suddenly seemed very doable. We turned to the internet for answers and based on the budget we had and the lifestyle/climate we were looking for, Bulgaria seemed to be the place for us. So after hours of trawling through websites, and countless emails back and forth with various estate agents throughout Bulgaria, it quickly became apparent that there is a lot of choices out there and ‘viewing trip’ was in order to see it for ourselves. We booked some tickets and flew over to see how it could be possible to buy a whole house for less than your standard deposit back home. In order to view some of these properties, in the beginning, we were in talks with a number of different agents and even a lawyer!, but the only person who actually seemed to care about helping us find our dream home that was right for us (and not about taking our money), was a lady called Kiki from BulgarianHouse.com. So after coming home, now with a better understanding of what your money can buy, the different things to look out for and the vastly different regions of the country, we asked Kiki to assist us with our search. With this newfound knowledge and her help, we quickly condensed a list of 30 potentials down to just 2, and then after Kiki did some investigation into the legal side of both the properties, we made our choice. When it comes to customer service, she helped us every step of the way, from suggesting houses that offered what we were looking for to guiding us through the legal process and completing the sale. She has consistently delivered on her promises and has always been just a phone call or message away - Which actually helped alleviate a lot of the possible anxiety linked to buying a house in another country… Not to mention choosing to do right in the middle of the Brexit negotiations. To be honest, the whole process has been a breeze with her help and I would certainly recommend her and BulgarianHouse.com to anyone who is looking to do the same. Now the sale is complete and the house is ours, we couldn’t be happier and plan to take the leap in the new year. Thank you for all your help Kiki Tia and Lee
