The town of Shabla is a town in northeastern Bulgaria, municipal center, part of Dobrich district. It is located 80 km north of Varna, 20 km from Kavarna. The climate is maritime. The winter is mild and windy, with sparse snowfall, the spring is sunny, the summer is cool, and the autumn is rainy. The relief is mostly flat.
City infrastructure; there is a school, an Orthodox church, a community center, various types of shops, restaurants, hotels, guest houses, a municipal children's complex, a kindergarten, doctors 'and dentists' offices and all modern amenities and communications - internet, satellite TV, digital telephone exchange, coverage mobile operators.
The city has a built and functioning sewerage system. A plan for gasification of the settlement has been approved. The roads are in very good condition. This makes Shabla a preferred destination for underwater tourism. Next to the town there is a yacht club, from which the annual regatta on the Black Sea coast starts. About 2 km southeast of Lake Shabla is the Shabla Tuzla - mud-healing zone, representing a semi-salty coastal lake separated from the sea by high dunes.
