Bansko is the best Bulgarian destination for skiing, snowboarding and sledding. There are tracks of any complexity - 5 easy, 8 medium difficulty, 2 difficult. The slopes are located high enough to provide a fairly long season - in the good years from December to May. The highest point of the ski center is 2560 m, and the lowest of 1000 m. The total length of the ski slopes is 65 km, the ski lifts 26 km, and a 16 km ski road connects the slopes with Bansko.
